Atlético de Madrid completed and announced on Thursday the signing of Argentine Nahuel Molina for the next five seasons from Italian Udinese, after passing the medical examination on Tuesday and joining the training of his new team that same day.
With his arrival, coach Diego Simeone already has the right back that he wanted to reinforce a priority area of his squad for the new season.
"Nahuel Molina (Embalse, Córdoba, Argentina, April 6, 1998) is already a new player of Atlético de Madrid after the agreement reached with Udinese for the transfer of the Argentine footballer to our club, who signs for the next five seasons", announced the entity, three days after the arrival, last Monday, of the player in Madrid to sign his incorporation to the red and white team, in which he arrives at 24 years old.
Flexible to play in both the 4-4-2 and the 3-5-2, and chosen by the coach to cover a position that had lost two players in the last semester (Kieran Trippier, transferred to Newcastle last January, and Sime Vrsaljlko, once his contract ended), "the Argentine full-back stands out for his versatility on both sides and for his offensive potential", as highlighted by the Spanish club in its statement published on the website.
