Federico Valverde is once again a protagonist of the headlines. Unfortunately, this time it is not for a good performance with Real Madrid or the Uruguayan national team, but for a criminal act of which he, his girlfriend, and the mother of his child, Mina Bonino, have been victims. Precisely, it was the partner of the Uruguayan football player who gave details of the tragic incident. According to the Argentine journalist, she and the player were drugged by the house chef during their vacation in Ibiza.
"When we arrived at the house, the chef was already there. He told me at that moment that there was only one key and that he was going to take it to make breakfast the next day and not bother us. The next day I could hardly get up. I sent a message to Leslie to take my son away because everything was spinning around me. I felt very sick, but I thought it was because I was in very bad physical condition."
According to Bonino, the theft amounted to 10,000 euros in cash and occurred when she and Valverde were already heavily indisposed and practically unconscious. Then they started to explain the reasons why they began to suspect the chef.
"An hour later, I went downstairs and saw my three suitcases in the living room. There were my flip-flops thrown and Leslie was organizing everything. She said to me, 'were you looking for something?' Since I was still drugged, I must have laughed, I didn't understand anything and I carried on with my own thing. When we were about to leave for the beach, I said, 'I'm going to take some money.' Already with my swimsuit, my sunglasses, ready and prepared to sunbathe, I opened my wallet and it was empty. That's when the chef appeared telling me that when he arrived, everything was a mess."
Finally, she recounts the end of the story and how exposed she felt in front of strangers. According to Bonino, the beginning of the vacation was terrible but it gradually got better with each passing day.
"The real estate agents came. They put on a beautiful act where they told us that the food could have been poisoned because they believed it was the chef, so they took us to the hospital for substance analysis. The tests showed if there was cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, amphetamines, or antidepressants in our blood, but it was negative for everything. It was all very subtle so that they could rob the house without me finding out, king. We spent our first day in the hospital. My friend was throwing up and I was robbed by someone who saw me sleeping naked, and that's what disturbs me the most."
