"There is not just one, you know? But the comeback against Barcelona... (2017). That night, no matter what happened, we would have lost the match, 3 or 4-1, for sure. But with a different referee and VAR, we would never have suffered the 6-1. It is the biggest injustice we have suffered, it has been tough," said the midfielder in 'Le Parisien'.

Marco Verratti, in the ranks of PSG since 2012, also mentioned the clash with Manchester United in the round of 16 of the Champions League in 2019. After the Parisian victory at Old Trafford, the 'Red Devils' triumphed agonizingly in France with a penalty awarded by VAR.

"At this level, in the Champions League, these are matches where anything can happen very quickly. And Real Madrid repeated it against Chelsea and Manchester City. Madrid is a team that is used to playing these matches and suffering. Here in Paris, sometimes we forget that we have to suffer to win. And that is something that we have to understand together: the players, the club, and the fans," he concluded.
