The forward of Real Madrid Karim Benzema equaled this Thursday with the white legend Raúl González as the second historical scorer of the club by scoring his 323rd goal with the white jersey against Levante. The Frenchman scored his team's second goal in the 36th round of the Spanish championship that the merengues won 6-0.

Benzema headed in a goalmouth cross from the left by Vinicius (19) to score the goal that further enlarges his legend in the club.

"We are talking about two legends of Real Madrid," said the director of Institutional Relations of the merengue club, Emilio Butragueño, to Movistar+.

"There is no discussion about what Karim represents for us. Today he is the best player in the world, it is a privilege to have him here, to enjoy his game," added Butragueño, saying that "today he has once again given an exhibition."

Benzema only has the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of him and his 451 goals, who tops the ranking of the top scorers of Real Madrid.
