Celta de Vigo congratulated Renato Tapia for his 50 matches at the club.

On Tuesday, December 14, the midfielder of the Peruvian national team, Renato Tapia, reached 50 official matches with Celta de Vigo. The match against Andorra in the second round of the Copa del Rey marked the fiftieth game for the Peruvian.

The club made it known through their social media, congratulating Renato with an encouraging message. "Renato Tapia has reached a milestone defending our jersey. Here's to many, many more!", the caption reads.

After reaching 50 matches with Celta, Renato Tapia wrote the following on his social media: "Amor celeste. Here's to many more."

Although Tapia has not been able to score so far with Celta de Vigo, the Peruvian has earned the respect and admiration of the fans after his good 2020-2021 season.

Today, Celta is going through a complicated moment in LaLiga Santander, as the team led by 'Chacho' Coudet is currently in 14th place in the Spanish league, 4 points away from the relegation zone.
