"Let's be realistic. If Benfica manages to pass this stage it is a very important milestone in my career as a coach since we would leave a team like Barcelona out. It has been 18 years since Barcelona was eliminated in the round of 16," said the coach during a press conference on Tuesday.

Furthermore, the former Flamengo coach highlighted that the club has already achieved the goal of playing in this stage of the Champions League, so he relieved himself of some responsibility in the face of possible elimination.

"Benfica's main goal was to be in the group stage and we have achieved that. Dynamo is a difficult opponent, knows how to create problems, but we will go out to play to win," said the Portuguese coach.
