Memphis Depay wasted a great opportunity for FC Barcelona to equalize against Rayo Vallecano. The Dutch forward was brought down in the box and the referee awarded a penalty. From the spot, Depay was not accurate as goalkeeper Dimitrievski guessed where he would shoot.

The incident occurred in the 71st minute with the score 1-0 in favor of the Vallecas team. After missing the shot, the ball bounced in the area, and Depay attempted for a second time; however, the goalkeeper reacted faster and was able to take hold of the ball.
