After the double fixture of the South American Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, national football returns with matchday 10 of the LigaPro. The tournament is led by Barcelona with 16 points, the same as Delfín.
But there are eight clubs with possibilities of winning the Second Stage of the LigaPro in addition to the two leaders. Liga de Quito and Mushuc Runa have 15 points; Técnico Universitario, Universidad Católica, and Independiente del Valle have 14 points; and El Nacional has 13 points.
LDU is third in the standings, but with one game less, as they have a pending match against U.Católica, who are also fighting for the first place. After their match against Emelec, Liga de Quito will focus on the final of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana against Fortaleza, in Uruguay.
