César Farías loses control and gets expelled after attacking two rival players
During a play, Aucas defender Luis Cangá pushed Alexis Rodríguez, causing him to stumble and accidentally knock over the Venezuelan coach. Delfín's player approached to apologize, only to receive an attack from Farías.
One member of his coaching staff tried to stop him, but he continued his path and when Bryan Oyola approached, he also confronted him with a hit to the neck, resulting in a red card from referee Gabriel González.
Despite the expulsion, César Farías took a while to leave as he claimed aggression from the Delfín player, which did not proceed.
The Aucas ended up losing 2-0 against their rivals, leaving them in eighth place in the general standings, while Delfín is currently in fifth place.
The sanction against the Aucas coach will be determined next week when the disciplinary committee of the Ecuadorian league meets.
