Alexander Alvarado, a standout player for Liga de Quito in the LigaPro Betcris, expressed how the team is doing and what is left to finish the second phase in the best way possible.
"We are a great group, we are strong, and we will work towards winning on Saturday against an opponent like Cumbayá that never gives up," said Alvarado.
Regarding what Liga needs to finish Phase 2, Alvarado stated: "We have to give 100% in the Liga Pro. First is Cumbayá and then we will think about Barcelona. We know that if we win the 6 points, we will be at the top."
The left winger also emphasized the importance of the fans in supporting the team: "We ask the fans to support us in every game. When we see the stadium full, it motivates us even more. Hopefully, on Saturday, they will come and celebrate with us."
Finally, Alvarado also addressed a possible call-up to the National Team: "I was asked to get a visa, but that doesn't mean anything about a possible call-up. It's always part of the planning. I work hard to be able to make it."
