Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito made the request to have VAR for their match against Club Sport Emelec this weekend.
The Albo will fully cover the cost of implementing the technology, as is customary in these situations, with the exception of what happened between Barcelona and Independiente del Valle, who shared the costs.
Liga de Quito will host El Bombillo this Sunday at 18:00, at the Rodrigo Paz Delgado stadium.
