"About a possible purchase of my transfer, I haven't had contact with the board and my agent only had some contact a while ago but I don't try to get too involved in the matter," he assured in an interview with the program El Pulso del Fútbol.
"I don't have certainty of when I'll be okay, I'm feeling less pain but I'm still not ready to play. When I exert myself too much, I do feel some discomfort," he said about his recovery.
"One cannot play in fear, there's no defender that scares me. In Argentina, they hit harder than here, so there's no fear. The Ecuadorian league is very beautiful and very competitive, they have good teams and a good level. It helps one improve and progress in their career".
