Independiente del Valle will have Plaza for the 2021 campaign, thanks to an agreement reached with Valladolid for a loan, with which the Spanish team hopes to "recover" their forward at his best level.
Plaza left Independiente in 2019 when he signed with the blanquivioletas, signing a four-season contract. Without consolidating himself, he was relegated to the club's reserve team, then loaned to Turkey for the 2020/2021 season, and his journey would continue in Ecuador.
The last club for the Esmeraldan was Trabzonspor in Turkey, but continuous injuries prevented the Tricolor from standing out.
After returning from Europe, Independiente hopes that Plaza will compete in the LigaPro Serie A championship and the Copa Libertadores from the preliminary round (phase 2). (D)
