"Anderson Julio descartado para @LDU_Oficial", indicates the Twitter account of LIGA TV.

Repetto, meanwhile, in dialogue with the radio program Mundo Deportivo indicated this day that the coaching staff he leads hopes to have one or two more players for the start of the LigaPro Serie A championship and that Julio is a potential option.
Likewise, the Uruguayan coach requested, preferably, that two reinforcements be finalized, which "would be very important" for his intentions.
"We hope to have one more player. There is the possibility of Anderson Julio or perhaps another player," said Repetto.
"We are expectant. I still haven't closed the deal for Anderson Julio. I still wait a few more days to be able to have him," he reiterated.

In that sense, the Azucena leadership was awaiting the response from Atlético de San Luis to confirm the return of the 24-year-old forward and right winger to the university ranks.
Last Monday, Esteban Paz, president of the Special Football Commission for the albos, told Bendito Fútbol portal that they are "waiting for a proposal from San Luis". "We still have nothing," he clarified.
Anderson Julio signed for Atlético de San Luis in January 2020, after standing out in Liga in the last three seasons of the Ecuadorian Soccer Championship.
In this 2021 in Liga MX, despite his past as an albo, he has a worrying record of eleven minutes on the field and has not been called up in the last three matchdays.
In the same line, Repetto added that midfielder Édison Vega "has already completed a cycle" in Liga; that "there is still no definition of the matter" in relation to Uruguayan defender Carlos Rodríguez; and that "it is a possibility" for substitute goalkeeper Leonel Nazareno to leave the team, and that "we understand it because we know he needs to play."
