Coach Escobar already has a sketch of what would be his main team, after keeping ten of the eleven players that started against Liga de Quito, with Hernán Galíndez in goal; in defense with Andrés López, Guillermo de los Santos, Yúber Mosquera, and Jonathan Mina; Andrés Oña, José Carabalí, and Diego Armas in midfield, leaving Lisandro Alzugaray, Walter Chalá, and Juan Manuel Tévez in offensive roles. Against Liga de Quito, Católica started with Gustavo Cortez in place of Mina. (D)
