Bryan Angulo is considered by Cruz Azul for the Clausura 2021 tournament of Liga MX, and Celeste Machine has not received "any type of offer from Emelec", according to the Mexican press.
The Ecuadorian forward returns to the club that owns his sports rights, "after his loan at Tijuana (2020) ended", and there he "will stay until further notice", tweeted journalist Alan Lara from La Octava Sports and Fútbol Total, on Thursday.
"At the moment, there is no interest from Emelec or any type of offer for him (...). El Cuco was called (by Cruz Azul). Until today, he is part of the plans of the Machine", informed Lara.
The electric club aimed to add another national forward, in addition to Alejandro Cabeza and Bryan Sánchez, who arrived for this season to replace former millionaire striker Roberto Ordóñez.
According to the publication on social media, Angulo is one of the players who "will have to earn their place", since they are "not considered in the team's core" led by Juan Reynoso Guzmán.
The former blue striker (25 years old) left Ecuador in mid-2019. "He migrated to Mexican football without success in Cruz Azul", so he was loaned to the Xolos.
With Emelec, Angulo won the national titles of 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017, "the last year as one of its main figures". (D)
