The 2-0 defeat against Delfín extended the season's title definition for Liga de Quito to a home and away final, with the opponent to be determined between Barcelona and Emelec, which will be known on the last matchday.
The university team seeks to recover from some injuries in recent weeks, setbacks that Pablo Repetto hopes to "disguise", to arrive in "the best expression", the coach revealed.
"Unfortunately, we couldn't avoid there being a final, but we will recover and think about those two final games that will decide the year. We will try to recover as many players as possible and have the maximum potential on December 23rd and 29th," expressed the Uruguayan.
Being first in the accumulated table, Liga has the option to define the title as the home team; however, they must earn points on the last matchday against Técnico Universitario as they maintain only a two-point difference over Barcelona (57), the current leader of the stage. If Emelec reaches the final, based on the points in the table, the albos will close at the Rodrigo Paz stadium.

However, for coach Repetto, it is "indifferent" to play the first or second home game. "I don't see it as an advantage, especially now that there is no audience," he commented.
For the matches that will define the title, Liga could recover defender Franklin Guerra, midfielder Matías Zunino, and goalkeeper Adrián Gabbarini, who traveled to Argentina for family reasons. The opposite face is the absence of forward Rodrigo Aguirre, injured in the game against the cetaceans and who could be ruled out for the finals, as happened with the injury of midfielder Adolfo Muñoz.
