After four months of cycling competitions in Europe, Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz (Ineos Grenadiers) returns to Ecuador.
The runner-up of La Vuelta a España is getting ready to reunite with his family and has already mentioned the special dishes he will have at home.
This Tuesday, the return of the cyclist from Carchi is scheduled, who will be in charge of organizing the IV Richard Carapaz Classic that will take place on the weekend.
On his social media, the champion of the 2019 Giro d'Italia showed what he expects to eat upon his arrival in the province of Carchi, in the Julio Andrade parish where he resides, or Playa Alta at his parents' house.

After reuniting with his family, Carapaz will have a tight schedule with the media and the organization of the Classic that bears his name, which will take place between November 13th and 15th.
This competition will have a first day on Friday with a children's circuit at the Luis Mantilla airport in Tulcán. The stages for cyclists in other categories will take place on Saturday and Sunday, with the first day covering a route between El Carmelo and Lagunas Verdes, and ending with a route between Tulcán and Playa Alta.
After his competition, Carapaz plans to be part of the organization of the 37th edition of the Vuelta Ciclística al Ecuador, which will be held between November 23rd and 28th.
