Manta -
Maximo Banguera, the new signing of the current champion of Ecuadorian football, Delfín de Manta, thanked the fans and the club's management for the reception he had since last weekend when his signing for the Manabita team was announced.
"They made me feel at home from the first day of training, as if we had already been here. I have had many teammates in the national team, we have shared these days and I feel like they have made me feel like part of a family," said Banguera.

The tall goalkeeper no longer talks about his past at El Nacional - where he did not play a single official match - and stated that he wants to continue enjoying football and contribute his experience to help the institution in Manta move forward.
"I really want to give them a title, or better yet, many titles. Hopefully, we are blessed by God for that. I am very grateful and we hope that everything goes as planned," said Banguera.
Currently, he is undergoing strict training with Alain Baroja and Dennis Corozo, the latter of whom has been the starting goalkeeper in Delfín due to technical decision. (D)
