The restricted work in clubs complicates the evolution of the teams during the suspension of LigaPro
Miguel Angel Ramirez, the coach of Independiente del Valle, revealed how the restricted work in clubs complicates the evolution of the teams during the suspension of LigaPro. He spoke about reinventing themselves in each training session in search of work formulas that resemble what the players experience in football matches.
One measure according to the safety protocol in the pandemic is working in groups, activities that have been carried out during the last 30 days. However, Ramirez said, "We are running out of ideas and work resources, we no longer know what else to do, but it is what we have to do," with laughter and lamentation due to the limitation of activities.
The coach seeks to "compensate" for the group work, considering that collective work and player interaction in practices is ideal.
"We try to generate dynamics that can be as close as possible to the game, from small spaces or works that have more real spaces to those covered by the players on the field," said the Spanish coach.
In the daily planning, Ramirez seeks to "help" the player through "exercises and dynamics" that bring them closer to the work in regular training sessions and official matches.
"We design tasks to work with the groups that allow us to accumulate training hours and game concepts to gain time," said the coach of the black-and-red team.

And it is precisely the working time that complicates the activities, without knowing the resumption date of the tournament, which also prevents planning confirmation matches, necessary to return to competition.
"When we have the resumption date, they have to give us a few weeks margin to be able to train with the complete group, train with more normality because what we are doing now does not fit the reality of the game," said Ramirez.
For this last phase, LigaPro will allow confirmation matches between teams from the same province. Independiente has invitations, "but we will define that when they give us the OK to do it. First, we have to train together, and once we have accumulated work with the group, we can play friendly matches," concluded the striped coach. (D)
