The delegation from the Loja Sports Federation prevailed during the National Speed Skating Championship, which took place on the Cuenca track before the health emergency was declared in Ecuador.
The southern team accumulated a total of 357 points; Correcaminos club, with 346, came in second; while Ecuador Skating, with 257, finished third; Team Élite, with 237, fourth; Guayaco Skating, with 193, finished fifth.
Among the individual results, Deyanira Morejón from Guayaquil Skating won in the pre-youth category in the elimination event, leaving Nathalia Pesántez from Speed Force in second place; while in the male category the victory corresponded to Jeremy Israel Ulcuango from Correcaminos, with Joel Adrián Guacho from Team Élite as his runner-up.
On the other hand, in the unique category of the same specialty, the multiple national champion Renato Campana from Súper Patín Ecuador reached the first position; and in the ladies' division, the winner was Fernanda Moncada from Fedeloja.
In the head-to-head race, the winners in the pre-youth category were Martina Ramírez from Gabriela Cavalieri and Jeremy Israel Ulcuango; in the unique series, Juan Reinoso from Ecuador Skating and María Loreto Arias from Fedeloja emerged victorious. (D)
