The Spanish coach Robert Moreno could be announced in the coming hours as the new manager of the Ecuadorian national team for the Qatar 2022 qualifiers and the Copa America.

Last Monday, the president of the Ecuadorian Football Federation, Francisco Egas, assured that he had already chosen the new coach of the national team, who would be Robert Moreno, according to international press.

Moreno would be the chosen man after the agreement that was said to exist between the Ecuadorian Football Federation and the German Jurgen Klinsmann broke.

Robert Moreno, 42, briefly coached the Spanish national team this year. He left the position in November and was replaced by coach Luis Enrique.
