La Tricolor, under the interim coach Jorge Célico, seeks to change the image it left in the 6-1 defeat it suffered a month ago against Argentina, in Elche, Spain.

Against the Caribbean team, it is Célico's fourth match, who has two victories - against Peru (0-1) and Bolivia (3-0) - and the defeat against the Gauchos.

The first match between both teams dates back to 2017. This is how Quinteros' team formed and made the changes: Esteban Dreer (Hamilton Piedra, 81m); Pedro Velasco, Dario Aimar, Luis León, Christian Cruz; Pedro Quiñónez (José Cevallos, 63m), Fernando Gaibor (Jordan Sierra, 86m), Gabriel Cortes (m.46, Matías Oyola), Ayrton Preciado (Jacob Murillo, 79m); Erick Castillo (Romario Caicedo, 68m) and Juan Anangonó.
