According to Sport, Pep Boada and Ramón Planes, executives from Barcelona, will go watch Johan Mina: "For months, the club has been keeping an eye on several players from the Ecuadorian national team, but this young player has caught all their attention and Barcelona will closely monitor his progress, as they consider him a midfielder with great potential and scoring ability," says the report from the Catalan media.
Johan Mina cannot sign with another club according to FIFA regulations until he reaches the legal age. He will turn 18 in February, which means he will be able to negotiate his departure.
