Jürgen Klinsmann will earn around 4.5 million dollars annually as Ecuador's coach, as reported by the German newspaper Bild on Friday.
Waiting for its official announcement by the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF), the new coach of the Tricolor has already signed a "pre-agreement" with the leaders of Ecuafútbol, as stated this week by the main executives, Francisco Egas and Jaime Estrada.

Bild added that Klinsmann "does not have to move for his new job (and) can stay in his adoptive home in California", in the United States, where he has resided since taking over the technical direction of the US national team in 2011. "Especially good for 'Klinsi'".
In this last role as coach, from which he was fired at the end of 2016, the German received 3.3 million dollars in annual salary, according to an economic report from the US Soccer Federation.

The details of Klinsmann's contract have not been revealed by the FEF. A pompous presentation of his tenure as the Tri's strategist is expected, one that "has the impact it should have, due to commercial agreements," detailed Egas.
Bild emphasizes that Ecuador's first match with the German coach in charge will be on November 20, in a friendly match against Colombia. (D)
