Roger Federer, the current number three in the world and winner of 20 majors, will tour Latin America at the end of November. Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico were the confirmed countries. But now one more has been added: Ecuador. The Municipality of Quito announced it.
The exhibition match that Roger will play will take place at the Rumiñahui Coliseum and will be against the German Alexander Zverev, currently ranked sixth in the world. The chosen date is Sunday, November 24, which will be the Swiss player's last stop on his Latin American tour.
'His Majesty' will start on the 20th at the Parque Roca in Buenos Aires, where he will face Juan Martin del Potro. Then, he will go to the Movistar Arena in Bogota (on the 22nd) and the Plaza de Toros in Mexico City (on the 23rd). In both places, he will play against Zverev. Finally, he will travel to Quito.
It is also expected that the Swiss player will officially announce a date at the Movistar Arena in Santiago de Chile, which would take place on November 19. But if it is not confirmed yet, there are still four alternatives for Latin American fans to see one of the greatest tennis players in history.
