Paderborn 2 – 3 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich faced a new Bundesliga match with the firm intention of corroborating the good feelings of the last games. The contest didn't start bad for Niko Kovac's players, given that Serge Gnabry took advantage of an assist from Philippe Coutinho after fifteen minutes of play to put the reigning German champion ahead (0 - 1). In fact, the halftime break arrived with the minimum advantage on the scoreboard for the visiting team thanks to the goal scored by the player from Stuttgart.

Everything indicated that the match would be practically decided shortly after the start of the second half. Robert Lewandowski set up Coutinho, which allowed the former FC Barcelona player to score a goal for Paderborn (0 - 2). However, the team led by Steffen Baumgart would manage to narrow the gap on the scoreboard beyond the midpoint of the second half, when Kai Pröger would beat Manuel Neuer to raise the score to 1 - 2. And the Polish forward of Bayern couldn't miss his appointment with the goal, so Lewandowski would be in charge of increasing the lead for the Bavarians (1 - 3). However, Jamilu Collins would add a little more excitement to the match with the 2 - 3, but the 3 points would go to Munich's team.

Results of the other Bundesliga matches:

- Hoffenheim 0 - 3 Borussia Mönchengladbach (Alassane Pléa, 43', Marcus Thuram, 65', and Florian Neuhaus, 83')

- Mainz 05 0 - 1 Wolfsburg (Marcel Tisserand, 9')

- Augsburg 0 - 3 Bayer Leverkusen (Florian Niederlechner own goal, 34', Kevin Volland, 76', and Kai Havertz, 84')

- RB Leipzig (Emil Forsberg, 84') 1 - 3 Schalke 04 (Salif Sané, 29', Amine Harit penalty, 43', and Rabbi Matondo, 58')
