Shakira Returns to Barranquilla due to Health Problems

After going through a great concern for her father who was operated on last summer due to a fall that caused blood clots in his brain, problems with her close circle returned.

Unfortunately, Shakira had to travel to Colombia urgently and land as quickly as possible to go directly to the hospital where her mother, Nidia Ripoll, who is in poor health at 73 years old, was taken.

Telemundo announced that Ripoll "started feeling unwell last Friday and went to the medical center to rule out any major problems," due to complications from thrombosis in one of her legs.

Furthermore, it was later reported that the singer's mother is now out of danger after this urgent hospital admission that led the Colombian to return to her homeland.
