Tricolor Night 2023. The most popular football team in Trujillo, one of the most beloved in northern Peru, will present its professional team to the fans this Wednesday, January 11. The Carlos Mannucci Club will receive Junior de Barranquilla (Colombia) at Mansiche Stadium and a full house is expected.
This match, which will be played at 8:00 p.m., will have a particularity, not because it is a historical rivalry between both clubs or a revenge from a recent match, but because it will face a father and his son.

Uruguayan Mario Viera, coach of the carlista club, and Sebastián Viera, captain and goalkeeper of Junior, will face each other in the Trujillo colossus. Both, of course, will seek victory to arrive well at the start of their respective local tournaments.
In an interview with ESPN in May 2020, the goalkeeper remembered his beginnings with his father, who was his personal coach since he was 8 years old. Being colleagues in the position, Sebastián recalled that his father was very demanding, but that each session was a master class.
"I was 8 or 9 years old, but he trained us as if we were men, he demanded a lot from us. So, that was the foundation that made us mature very quickly (...) and I got used to training more than everyone else," he explained at the time.
