Carlos Andrés Gómez is one of the talents that Colombian soccer has. His professional debut took place in 2021, in a match against Alianza Petrolera. Gradually, he started to gain the starting position and the trust of Alberto Gamero.

During 2022, he played a total of 58 matches, scoring 12 goals, both in the League and the Cup. His ability in the attacking front, his speed, have led him to be considered one of the best in the country, at only 21 years old, being compared to Faustino Asprilla.
