The Struggle of Raziel García in Deportes Tolima

There is no doubt that Raziel García has begun to stand out in recent years thanks to his participation in the Liga 1 and the Peruvian National Team. Unfortunately, the footballer has not been able to repeat his good performances in Deportes Tolima.

The Inca attacker has played 26 matches this season, among the various competitions in Colombia and the Copa Libertadores, and has only managed to score one goal. It is not surprising that the criticisms have intensified against him.

In light of this, Guillermo Ordoñez, sports editor of El Espectador newspaper in Colombia, explained the reason why Raziel García is not doing well in Deportes Tolima.

"He did not perform well, just like he did not do so in the national team, because he had very few opportunities. Tolima has become one of the giants in Colombian football and has a wide squad. In the few minutes he played, he could not show his talent and therefore could not secure a starting position. That is the reason, because there was no doubt about his talent," he explained.

He also recalled Johan Fano's past in Colombia and revealed that he succeeded because "he was consistent, he shone every 8 days and showed that he left his soul on the field." Finally, the Colombian communicator revealed what a Peruvian footballer must do to succeed in his homeland.

"The issue is more about contributing to the team and personality, because the Peruvian is a warm and kind person, but sometimes you also have to have temperament. You have to be rebellious at certain moments, that could have happened to Raziel, he settled for a secondary role and did not seek protagonism," he concluded.
