According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Colombian national team striker attended the Fideuram headquarters in Piazza Matteotti, as he had an appointment with a financial advisor and also had some transactions to make. However, the '9' did not expect to receive a negative response at the door of the place.

According to the information published by the Italian newspaper, the security agents prevented the 31-year-old athlete from entering the mentioned bank. In fact, those in charge of security used a disconcerting phrase to address the South American: "Where do you think you're going? This is not a place for you, go somewhere else", the source cited says.

Why was Duván Zapata denied entry?

Duván Zapata, surprised by the scene, tried to identify himself to the men at the bank entrance. Likewise, the goal scorer explained the reason for his visit and the dialogue continued for a few minutes, but the prohibition persisted until one of the Fideuram officials appeared to clarify the situation.

After the matter was resolved, the financial institution issued a statement: "Duván is one of our clients, but security couldn't know that. The employees were simply doing their job, guaranteeing us a security service in an intermediate space between the entrance and the street", they stated.

After that, La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that the security agents prevented Duván Zapata from entering due to his attire. Incredibly, the argument was that the Atalanta forward was not dressed properly to enter the establishment and, furthermore, he was seen with a "suspicious ease".
