The Colombian Track Cycling Team had a outstanding performance in the Pan American Track Championship held in Lima, Peru, finishing on the podium of the overall medal tally.

The national team won two gold medals, seven silver medals, and seven bronze medals to secure the third position. The champion of the tournament was Canada, while Trinidad and Tobago finished in second place.

On the last day of competition, Canada added their final two gold medals thanks to Kelsey Mitchell, who won the women's keirin race. The silver medal went to her compatriot Lauriane Genest, and the bronze medal was won by Colombian Juliana Gaviria.

Later, the Canadian pair of Dylan Bibic and Michael Foley took first place in the Madison. Second place went to the Colombian duo of Juan Esteban Arango and Jordan Parra. The bronze medal was awarded to Mexicans Fernando Nava and Ricardo Peña.

Colombia won its second gold medal in the tournament thanks to Santiago Ramírez, who dominated the men's kilometer time trial with a time of 1:00.756 minutes. The silver medal went to fellow Colombian Cristian David Ortega and the bronze to Canadian James Hedgcock (1:01.596). / COLPRENSA
