Cali wants to start scoring in the League: hosts Medellín at Palmaseca.

Deportivo Cali finished their preparation to receive Deportivo Independiente Medellín this Thursday at 8:00 p.m., for the third round of Liga II-2022, at the Cali stadium in Palmaseca. They will play their second game of the semester, since they did not participate in the first round due to the Women's Copa América and in the last round they lost against Tolima in Ibague.

During the last days, the team has been training normally at the sports headquarters in Pance and at their stadium, preparing for this match against the powerful team and especially, beginning to consolidate the football idea of the new coaching staff led by Mayer Andrés Candelo.

For this match, the team recovers defender Miguel Nazarit, who served his suspension from the previous semester, but they will not be able to count on forward and captain Teófilo Gutiérrez, who was sent off with a direct red card against Tolima and the Championship Committee in its last resolution, announced that he will have to serve a two-match suspension for the incident.
