This Thursday, November 25th, will be the inauguration of the I Pan American Junior Games Cali - Valle 2021, where the Peruvian delegation is ready to leave the country's name at the top in a tournament where more than 160 athletes will participate in different disciplines. The parade of the grand ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. (Peruvian time).
The flag bearers of Peru are Angelo Caro in skateboarding and Noemí Huayhuameza in judo, who will lead their teammates in the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium. Caro, who participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, where he finished in fifth place, commented on his feelings leading up to this important continental tournament in Colombia.
"I am excited about the possibility of returning with a medal to Peru, as I train hard to overcome myself. I thank the Peruvian Olympic Committee (COP) for all the support they provide to athletes to have a good participation in international tournaments," said the Olympic athlete.

In addition, Angelo Caro stated that he could not attend the presentation ceremony of the flag bearers because he was feeling unwell and decided to rest to present himself in the best way at the championship. He also hopes that Peruvian fans can cheer on the national team.
