Bolívar advanced to the Semifinals of Bolivia - Apertura Tournament 2022 by defeating O.Petrolero 7-6. For Bolívar, José Sagredo, Patricio Rodríguez, Leonel Justiniano, Bruno Sávio, Rubén Cordano, Gabriel Villamil, and Javier Uzeda scored in the penalty shootout, while Roberto Fernández missed. For the visiting team, Maximiliano Caire, Luciano Guaycochea, Miguel Ángel Ríos, Carlos Roca, Wilson Quiñónez, and Marcelo Suárez scored, while Facundo Suárez and Samuel Guzmán missed.

Bolívar missed two penalties during the match. Francisco da Costa hit the post in the 46th minute of the second half, and Alex Granell missed the target in the 65th minute of the second half.
