This Friday, September 15th, Boca Juniors hosted Defensa y Justicia, in the framework of the fourth matchday of the Argentinian Professional League Cup 2023. Despite 'Xeneize' having ball possession, 'Halcón' took advantage of a great opportunity and won 1-0. However, this result could have been greater if it weren't for Luis Advíncula, who made a great save to prevent the opponent from extending their lead at La Bombonera.
The play occurred in the 77th minute of the game. The visiting team organized a lethal counterattack, led by Sant'Anna. The latter sent the ball into the opponent's area, where Togni was, under the marking of the popular 'Bolt'. With a turn, the winger eluded the national defender and prepared to shoot towards Bologna's goal.
However, just when it seemed that the ball would go into 'Xeneize's' net, Luis Advíncula managed to recover and intercept the ball, avoiding 2-0 in favor of 'Halcones'. Despite this, the home team couldn't equalize the score, with the visiting team being the winner of the match at La Bombonera.
