Boca Juniors defeated Barracas Central 2-1 in the Round of 16 of the Copa Argentina and advanced to the next round of the tournament. One of the novelties presented by the Xeneize was the return of Jorman Campuzano, Colombian midfielder who returned from loan and earned Almirón's trust to be the central midfielder.

The Colombian arrived in Buenos Aires a few weeks ago after his spell in Turkey. At Almirón's request, he stayed with the team to fight for a place. The imminent departure of Alan Varela to Porto opened the door to his starting role in the Copa Argentina match against Barracas Central, and he played the entire game.

Campuzano had already worked under Almirón's orders. They both played together at Atlético Nacional in Colombia, where they reached the final of the FPC in the first semester.

Jorman played as Boca's '5' against Barracas. He positioned himself as the man between the center-backs to start the game. He was also the player tasked with acting as a shield against the opponent's attack, although he did not show much strength in some defensive actions.

He played 77 minutes and was eventually replaced by Equi Fernández. Now he will have to prove to Almirón that he is capable of occupying this position against Nacional in Montevideo in the Copa Libertadores.
