Mijares and Lucero in Lima: concert date and location
Mexican singer Manuel Mijares will arrive in Lima with Lucero to sing for their 30 years of artistic career. The show "Until it happened to us" will take place on Saturday, July 22nd at Arena 1 in San Miguel. In addition, Mijares will be recognized by the Latin Recording Academy with a special award in honor of his great trajectory.

The 2023 Musical Excellence Award is a recognition that is only granted to performers who manage to overcome barriers and contribute creatively to Latin music and its communities. On this occasion, it will go to the hands of Manuel Mijares, the Cuban Arturo Sandoval, the Brazilian Simone, the Spanish Ana Torroja and Carmen Linares, and the Argentine band Soda Stereo.
"We are very honored by the opportunity to recognize these great Ibero-American figures, whose musical legacy continues to inspire new generations", expressed Manuel Abud, CEO of the Latin Recording Academy in a statement.
In addition, Abud expressed his desire to commemorate the outstanding careers of these Latin music stars at the Lope de Vega Theater in Seville, Spain, during the "Latin Grammy Week" on Sunday, November 12th.
