In the first date of the surfing competitions, an event that takes place at Mendihuaca Beach, Venezuela won two gold medals, while Peru and Argentina ended up with one gold each. Venezuela's two gold medals were in bodyboarding, obtained by Rosmarky Álvarez and Daniel Arocha, who recorded times of 13:84 and 12:76 respectively.
In the women's category, the silver medal was won by Hannah Saavedra (PER) with a time of 10:17, and the bronze medal went to Verónica Correa (PAN) with a time of 7:16. In the men's category, Edwin Núñez from Panama completed the podium with a time of 12:33, followed by Cristopher Bayona from Peru with a time of 9:73, winning silver and bronze respectively.
In the women's Sup Race, Juliana González from Argentina won the gold medal with a time of 28:15:00, followed by Lena Guimaraes from Brazil who recorded a time of 30:17:00, and Giannisa Vecco from Peru who finished with 31:54:00. In the men's category, Itzael Delgado from Peru reached the top of the podium with a time of 22:38:00, followed by David Nascimiento from Leao de Brasil (23:08:00) in second place, and Santino Basaldella from Argentina (23:27:00) in third place.
