León felt pressed in their area in the final minutes of the first half. As a result, Andre Soares' team took advantage of one more defensive error, extending their lead to 3-1. The author of the third goal was Vitor Ferreira, who gave the visitors the advantage in the 45+1st minute.

In the second half, León immediately sought one more goal to close the gap with the three goals scored by San Luis.
