On this past Wednesday, Boca Juniors won another title after being crowned champion of the Argentine Super Cup 2022 with a resounding 3-0 victory against Patronato de Paraná. Peruvian player Luis Advíncula started as a starter and played the entire match, excelling on the right side of the team and adding a total of four titles with the club.
The first title that the Peruvian won with Boca Juniors was the 2020 Argentine Cup, which was extended for several months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 'El Rayo' joined the team from the round of 16 and started in the final against Talleres de Córdoba, where they won 5-4 on penalties.
Advíncula won his second title in the Professional League Cup, which was played in the middle of 2022. In that season, he was an undisputed starter, playing in all the matches of the final phase and having the opportunity to score his first goal in the match against Estudiantes de la Plata.
In the same year, in October, he became champion again by winning his first Argentine League title. During this championship, they suffered a change of coach, but Advíncula managed to impress Hugo Ibarra and earn his place in the starting lineup, playing 20 out of 27 matches in the tournament.
And as his fourth title, he has the recent Argentine Super Cup won this past Wednesday. Meanwhile, Boca Juniors added their 52nd national trophy and the 74th in their history after beating Patronato de Paraná with clarity.
