Racing Club is experiencing a good moment after winning the Supercopa Argentina against Boca Juniors. The team, led by Fernando Gago, is focused on their upcoming goals for the current season. Nevertheless, they are not ruling out new reinforcements, among which Paolo Guerrero stands out, who could arrive in Argentina in the next few hours.
The all-time leading scorer for the Peruvian National Team will undergo a physical test. If he passes, he will sign with Racing Club in a contract that would be one of the lowest in his career, but with productivity bonuses.
Amidst great expectation, forward Maximiliano Romero didn't hesitate to praise Guerrero, despite competing with him for the starting position as center-forward.
"The truth is that it would be a benefit for the team. Without a doubt, he is a player with a lot of style. I have no doubts that a striker of his caliber would greatly benefit the team. Hopefully, we can enjoy him," he said in an interview with TyC Sports.
