The final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup between Argentina vs. France was played last Sunday, December 18th, and the Albiceleste was declared the winner. Despite the days that have passed, French fans still can't forget what happened at the Lusail Stadium and refuse to accept that the Argentine national team became world champion. In that sense, they have started a petition based on signatures to repeat the final of the top tournament at the national team level.
Through an online platform, a French fan started with the idea and has gained many devotees. Their goal is to take the World Cup away from the Argentine national team and repeat the final. The argument they use to justify the request is that "The refereeing was completely biased, there was never a penalty + foul on Mbappé in the 2nd goal!"

So far, more than 200,000 signatures have been collected to support the request to replay the final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. It ranks among the largest on MesOpinions, the platform used for this campaign. If it were to exceed half a million signatures, it would be positioned in the top 3.
