December 19th, Monday, Rosario Central has officially announced the incorporation of Miguel Ángel Russo as the team's new coach. The Argentine strategist returns to the 'Canallas' squad after being part of the team during the 2014 season.
Remember that the Argentine was in charge of Alianza Lima in 2019. However, his season was not entirely auspicious, as out of the 15 matches he directed, he only achieved 3 victories, drew 4, and unfortunately lost 8 matches.
One of the results that is part of the former blanquiazul coach's failure is the Copa Libertadores. The Argentine commanded the match in which the 'íntima' squad lost 3-0 to River Plate in Argentina.
Now, football gives the Argentine a new opportunity and that is to manage the 'Canallas' team. "Miguel Ángel Russo is the new coach of Rosario Central! Welcome Miguel! This is Central!" the club stated on its social networks.
