Carlos Tevez steps down as Rosario Central coach
"I am going to step aside," said 'Apache' in a press conference.
Carlos Tevez did not even last five months as the coach of Rosario Central. In a press conference, the 'Apache' announced that he will not continue in charge of the technical direction of the team.
"I am going to step aside. I don't want to be an obstacle to anyone," expressed the former football player.
Tevez, 38, coached Rosario Central in 24 matches, achieving 6 wins, 10 draws, and 8 losses.
Let's remember that Tevez began and ended his career as a player at Boca Juniors, where he became a historic figure, and played his last match in May 2021, before announcing his departure from the club.
In his remarkable career as a player, Tevez played for Corinthians (Brazil), West Ham, Manchester United, and Manchester City (England), Juventus (Italy), and Shanghai Shenhua (China), winning a total of 26 trophies.
Tevez's list of achievements as a player includes a Copa Libertadores 2003 and an Intercontinental Cup 2003, and the Copa Sudamericana 2004 with Boca, the Champions League and a Club World Cup with Manchester United (2008), the gold medal in Olympic football in Athens 2004, and two 'Scudettos' with Juventus (2013/14 and 2014/15).
