A video shared on social media showed the journalist very excited about the opportunity to speak with one of the best footballers on the planet.
In fact, Giralt opened his heart and expressed himself in front of his idol: "And all I wish for you is to be very happy, to always do well in life. You deserve it. I have deep admiration for you.". Immediately, the international commentator couldn't contain himself and shed tears of emotion.
The narrator, sitting in front of Leo Messi, turned to the camera and made a gesture of "I can't take it anymore". Then, the journalist broke down and the place was filled with an uncomfortable silence. And it's because, according to the images, Paris Saint Germain's star didn't know what to do in front of a moved fan.
So, the number 10 lay back on the couch, gave a smile. Then, the former Barcelona player returned to the starting position, stretched out his hand to comfort Giralt. At that moment, Pablo reacted: "I dreamed my whole life of doing this, but I never thought I would be lucky enough to accompany you with my commentary, with my love. I thank you from the bottom of my heart", he expressed.
Leo Messi thanked the gesture
The captain of the Albiceleste was still surprised by what he was seeing. Then, the Argentine star showed gratitude for the expressions he receives from his country and around the world. Furthermore, the player revealed that these kinds of expressions move him and reveal the affection that people feel for him.
"Thank you very much. It moves me to be able to reach people like this. There are many people in Argentina or in the world in general who always support me, admire me, both for my football and for who I am as a person... I am grateful for the affection I have received throughout my career", he concluded.
