María Belén Bazo became South American champion after finishing in first place in all five races. The Peruvian athlete climbed to the top of the podium in the IQFOIL 95 Women's sailing event, surpassing Brazilian Giovanna Prada, Argentine Chiara Ferretti, and Venezuelan Carenys Salazar Gonzalez.
The second female representative who stood out was Caterina Romero, who won the silver medal in the Women's Sunfish final, only surpassed by Constanza Paz María Olivares Reyes.

In the case of Jean Paul de Trazegnies, the sailor of the sailing team won the gold medal in the Men's Sunfish event after eight races. The Peruvian surpassed Colombian Simon Gomez Ortiz, Argentine Martin Alsogaray, Venezuelan Rafael Chirinos, Chilean Ricado Seguel, and Brazilian Marcondes de Mattos.
In the ILCA 7 boat category in sailing, Stefano Peschiera reached the top of the podium after competing in eight races. Although he didn't win every race, he achieved enough first-place finishes to surpass Argentine Francisco Guaragna and Brazilian Felipe Mallmann.
Silver medal in Taekwondo
Camila Cáceres was the last to add a silver medal to the Peruvian team. The taekwondo athlete lost to Sandy Macedo but took second place in the Women's 49 kg to -57 kg category.
The Peruvian athlete did a great job after defeating Paraguayan Johana Fernández in both sets.
