Luis Advíncula made a great defensive closure in the Boca Juniors vs. Rosario Central match, but the VAR determined that he used his hand to block and a penalty was awarded. To the delight of the full-back, Gaspar Servio failed to score against Agustín Rossi.

Peruvian Luis Advíncula was the protagonist in the first minutes of the match between Boca Juniors and Rosario Central, for the Professional League of Argentina: he made a great defensive close in the area, but VAR determined that he used his hand to block. The 'Xeneizes' had a penalty against them, although Agustín Rossi shone to deny Gaspar Servio a goal.

The actions were just over seven minutes when Damián Martínez projected himself down the right side of the 'Canallas' and made a pass to the left, where Ignacio Malcorra was completely alone. The assist was perfect and the midfielder executed a controlled shot with his left foot.

However, in a matter of seconds, Luis Advíncula recovered, won the inside zone, and slid to block the opponent's shot. Finally, after a rebound, goalkeeper Agustín Rossi caught the ball and prepared to resume the match, but referee Pablo Echavarría received a call from VAR.

The referee went to review the scene on the monitor located on the side of the field and, after several minutes of analysis, determined the penalty. For the referee, the deflection of the ball from the leg to the arm of 'Bolt' was crucial for Rosario Central to not score the goal.

Advíncula did not hide his frustration with what happened and vehemently protested, although he could not do anything to change the referee's decision. Finally, goalkeeper Gaspar Servio took the responsibility of trying to give the lead to the 'Canallas', but his shot was saved by Agustín Rossi, who cleared with his legs. 'Lucho' and all of Boca Juniors celebrated.
