Villa's assist: Óscar Romero's double for Boca's 2-0 vs. Platense.

The task of Boca Juniors is to add a new victory in the Professional League, to continue in the fight for the title. So far, the performance against Platense has been consistent and Paraguayan Óscar Romero is the great protagonist of the night: he completed his brace for the partial 2-0 on the scoreboard.

The match on the La Bombonera pitch was reaching 42 minutes and 'Calamar' had possession of the ball. The possession belonged to Federico Gino, in the central circle, but he got into trouble due to the pressure from Luis Vázquez, who slid in to complete the steal and enable Sebastián Villa, who was waiting on the left side.

After receiving the ball, the Colombian did not hesitate to take on and performed a self-pass, with which he left Carlos Villalba behind. Despite being overcome, the Platense midfielder did not give up and went to pressure, already inside his own area, but he did not have enough composure: he missed the tackle once again.

Villa was left with plenty of space and, comfortably, sent a cross to the smaller area, where Óscar Romero was waiting. The Paraguayan, who had scored a great goal from a free kick, threw himself with a diving header and overcame the resistance of goalkeeper Marcos Ledesma, who could not do much to prevent the goal.

If the result is achieved, Boca Juniors will climb to ninth place in the Professional League, with 18 points (Atlético Tucumán is the leader, with 25 points); while Platense has the same points, but is in eighth place, due to goal difference.
